Comments about Rollerblade Twister 80 Urban Inline Skates 2011:
50s-60s Metal wheel roller skates with a key
70s-80s Disco Rollerskating high top leather quad rubber
90s-Now Inline roller bogey and Parkour blading
Been there done it and I got the T-shirt & Scraps as they say
Yeah I am a Boot Scooter wouldn't have it any other way
I evolved with my wheels sidewalks, rinks parks, at it night & day
So when I'm old and in a rocker. strap my wheels on it, i'll be okay
Now at my age its kinda nice to break in this new pair of urban Twister 80 Blades with their hard shell boot, lace strap and ratchet cinch snugness, air cooled padded inside boot, wheel base length is just right for speed and quick turns. These blades take a lot of the work out of it and focuses it into performance. Its like now my blades are doing some of the work for me.
My only dissatisfaction with these blades is the ratchet cinch is backwards as the end strap piece rubs and snags with each other when you slide your boots back and forth together, and at times has almost tripped me up. The end pieces should have went to the outside away from the boot. If your engineers change that flaw and you were to build it I will gladly volunteer to test it.....
Heck I would even buy another pair just for that improvement alone and then I would give these the 5 stars they deserve.....
P.S. Might think of adding lights, head & tail, small rockets?

Comments about Rollerblade Twister 80 Urban Inline Skates 2011:
Just wanted to give a little feedback on these skates from someone having an odd issue. I used to skate all the time, but quit about ten years ago. I've recently started skating again, only to find out the hard way my old Fusion MX skates were past time to retire. I have some shin and ankle damage that is still worse than I expected. I originally purchased the K2 Moto Boa, but could not wear them for any extended period of time. They pushed my ankles out into funky positions when I put weight on them. I replaced them with the Rollerblade Twister 80s since they were the closest to the old hard shell I was used to. They just came in today and I went out to the rink to try them out. MUCH better experience than the Moto 84 BOA. These new ones actually fit my legs right and don't force them into wierd contortions. They definitely fit more like the old full hardshell skates Rollerblade used to make, and the laces work better than any lace on a hard shell I've ever seen. I was able to skate for a full 3 hours with no pain that wasn't due to being old and out of shape. The frame is shorter than I expected, but they are a LOT more maneuverable than even my old Fusions that I had rockered to match ice hockey skates. And ZOMG are they fast. Awesome skates.
As for sizing, I normally wear an 8.5 or 8 in sneakers, and ordered a 9 in these. I have narrow feet and these skates fit like a glove, so if you've got Goliath feet you might want to try them on before you buy them.

I use these blades everyday and night they are quick, roll smoothly and quietly, and have great maneuverability. they are a little heavy at first but after extended use I've gained the muscle to make up for it. I'm very satisfied with these twister 80s!

Working out and fun. One of my feet measures 11.5 and the other a 12 i ordered a 12 in the Crossfire and it was a full inch to long(wow!) I returned it and decided to get the Twister. After explaining to both Inline and Rollerblade themselves my problem both suggested ordering a half size smaller than my foot. i.e. and 11. It was a full 1/2 inch(more than a centimeter to short. So [$] spend to try on 2 skates. [...]

Had these about a month now & love the fit & performance from them. I really love the venting these have. While going down the street or wherever, I can feel the air hitting my feet through the vents in the front of the boot.
Great skate.
