These are solid pads that make you feel protected-- except for the knee pads. The knee pads are only slightly (if at all) bigger than the elbow pads, which makes them tight and difficult to maneuver in. All the pads feature Velcro straps but the ones on the knee pads are too short to be used to secure them in place comfortably. I'll either extend the Velcro strap myself, or buy replacement knee pads separately.

I am 5 ft 6 and 138lbs. I ordered the size MD. They fit amazing and don't slip around. I also skate at night and the reflective points are a plus. They are very comfortable and I would recommend them to anyone.
