These skates are so awesome, the perfect blend of speed, comfort and support. I love speed skating and love taking full day trips on these skates. I have done many 40-75 mile full day trips on these and enjoyed every moment of speed freedom and beauty. They feel like extensions of my feet. I have skated the coast of california, and Florida, and go from n.y, to n.j. and queens. I gave up my car and use these as my mode of transportation and feel so much better not having to sit in traffic and never having to find parking is wonnderful. I highly recommend these wonderful skates!

I am an advanced recreational street skater and these skates are great. I had the Activa's before and these are significantly lighter and faster. The lower cuff is a bit less supportive to the ankles, but I am getting used to it. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is the lacing system. It is very secure but the laces are tough pulling through the holes. They should have made the eyelets bigger with easier pull through them. It is a bit of a pain in both the lacing up and taking off. Also, the insert in the boot is very thin with no support at all in the arch or the heel. You will need to replace them with better ones. Otherwise, I love these skates.

Skates are fast and feel solid. I wish, however, that they were less heavy.
